Me and my wife have gone here for years. I can say usually the staff is VERY NICE and the food is usually very good. But this morning was unacceptable. I found a big hair in my coffee while I was drinking it. Which is not a big deal. I jokingly just mentioned it to my waitress, and said I didn't even need a new cup. Accident happen i said. She said "oh I wonder who's hair that was?" And walked away. Then as I'm finishing my eggs I notice two big hairs on my plate. When she drops off the check I greet her with a smile and mention that the food was good although there was two other hairs in my food. I was VERY VERY friendly. She sarcastically says "um I can tell the manager to give you 10 percent off" and storms off. Then a nice blonde woman came up and said she will be our new waitress because our other one was mad at us. When we went to pay, no discount, no manager, nothing. We weren't expecting any handouts but the fact that she said she would do something, lied about it, talked trash on her customers, and then wasn't an adult enough to talk to us again, says a lot about her. We still left a 50% tip because she was probably having a bad day or something and because that will be the last time we will be eating there. She had a chance to make everything good by giving us the same respect we gave her.

We love Jim's. Food is great and the staff is amazing. You're always treated like family and everyone helps each other, even if they aren't assigned to your table. Wish they'd build a location closer to us, but we'll still drive the 20 miles to come!

Great food and good quality! I can't eat at another 24 hr cafe any more. Love the home style potatoes with breakfast and they let be sub a scone for my pancakes! Yum!

Went to Jim's for brunch and it was great. Good, fast service. Very yummy breakfast. Nice environment. Way better then dennys or ihop!

We were so glad that the signage was so clear for Jim's off the Route 15 as we headed south from SLC. The staff, especially Laurie, our server, was great! We enjoyed the Denver omelet and the pancakes and eggs. The food was hot on arrival and Laurie was very attentive to our needs and questions. Thankful to know there are non-chain stops. Just recognize that you are in Utah and not in California getting special coffee, for this is Utah but the place itself is great, welcoming and clean. All was delicious.

I eat here once or twice a month and they have an amazing pastrami burger. I love it.

Service was fine, the food made me and everyone I went with sick. I got the pastrami cheeseburger which was about 20% meat and 80% fat. I was pulling bits of fat from my mouth with every bite, and the hamburger was badly burnt. That was just MY experience; my friends had their own problems. Please, avoid this place. No one deserves to go through what we did...

Contrary to the "expert foodie" opinions heretofore expressed, my hub and I found the service friendly, food delicious (try the marinated pork!) and prices very reasonable. We did not go expecting gourmet food, nor greasy spoon fare...what we got was very much in line with 'Family dining', and was better than most! People very friendly! We would go again. Let's keep our expectations applicable- people are generally doing the best they can!!!

We went here somewhat as a joke. and now I really don't understand why people go here. The food is horrible.

I like Jim's! The service is always great, and the servers always have a good attitude. The food is old school home cookin. High calorie goodness! This is a diner, don't come expecting healthy, tasteless food. Breakfast is probably the meal you'll want to have here (served all day.)

Great service. I had a chocolate milk and the clubhouse sandwich. It was the juiciest sandwich.

Suprisingly really good. I have been here a couple times. This last two times I've had the kind breakfast and the western omelette. Super good but I wasn't a fan of the pancakes.

Best all day breakfast place. This location is our favorite, the staff and manager are amazing. Great food, huge serving size and very reasonably priced.

Your typical all-American diner. You can get breakfast anytime, the coffee is always on, and the service is always friendly. This place is always packed!

Absolutely terrible. We waited 80 minutes on a weeknight for two entrees (no appetizers or sides). The place was not busy. Both the entrees were marked as "Jim's special" so it should be something they cook all the time. My dish was supposed to have pork and instead had chicken. They offered a redo but I was not waiting 80 minutes again. Both of the dishes were below average and there wasn't that much food for the price. The service was excellent and I feel bad that such a great, attentive waitress worked at a restaurant where such horrible food was served. I wasn't expecting much...just something like Denny's or IHOP...but Jim's couldn't even live up to that.

Imagine Denny's had an identical twin but it was a little off. That's Jim's. Lousy food, worse service. This is a place only old people and white trash go. It's not good.

Me and my family go here every Saturday morning for breakfast love their cheese fries and they have the best ranch in Utah County and great prices for such a small family restaurant friendly and nice service and they get your food pretty quickly for making it from scratch

This place is awesome. The staff is always friendly, the food is pretty good, and they'll take good care of you. I recommend the open-faced Turkey Sandwich. Very good!

Oil was old. The chicken fried streak had bits of bone and gristle. Everything that touched the oil tasted bad. Ordered scones and they were not fully cooked three separate times. Won't be going back even if paid to go.

I'm a fan for one thing from this restaurant - if you like good old fashioned American meat plat breakfast, Jim's is your place. Don't particularly care for the rest of the menu and the coffee is exactly what you'd expect from a restaurant like this. The key is to understand what to order and what to avoid, stay with the breakfast menu any time of day and you'll be a fan too. Also, pancakes put IHOP to shame.

It's a chain, I know, but the wife and I use them as one of the few Bfast and sunday spots in the are. We have always been happy with the food and service, though mostly we do take out. The pie is good too.
